What is Med-QUEST?

Med-QUEST is Hawaiʻi’s Medicaid health care program. It is a federal and state partnership that provides access to health insurance for low-income individuals and families. It offers important health benefits critical to maintaining your health and treating illness and accidents. The program gives access to a wide range of services, including doctor visits, hospital stays, preventive care, mental health care, needed medications, and more! Make sure you have the health insurance you need to stay healthy and safe. Now more people than ever before are eligible.

* For those who don’t qualify for Med-QUEST, Healthcare.gov offers Special Enrollment allowing qualifying Hawaiʻi residents to access health insurance outside of the typical open enrollment period.
