Our signature event, The Eye Ball, is an annual fundraiser for Project Vision Hawai‘i to raise funds to continue our mission of increasing access to health and human services for the people of Hawai‘i, especially our most vulnerable populations. The funds raised at the event go directly towards staffing, supplies, and other related expenses which allow our teams to bring services directly to access-challenged communities across the state.

ABOUT PROJECT VISION HAWAI‘I
Project Vision Hawai‘i provides health and human services, targeting communities with access to care issues such as lack of insurance, geographic challenges, cultural barriers, and limited or no income. Our success in serving vulnerable populations comes largely because of two unique strategies: 1) we bring services directly to access-challenged communities; and 2) services are always 100% free of charge to participants.
Our Programs include:
• Better Vision For Keiki - Vision screenings in Title I schools, along with hearing screenings coming soon.
• Hiehie Homeless Outreach - Mobile showers for individuals facing homelessness, paired with street medicine, wound care, case management, housing placement, and more.
• Mobile Health - Mobile vaccinations and health services.
• SNAP & MedQUEST Outreach - Food stamps and medicaid enrollment and servicing, in partnership with DOH.
• Cataracts Days - Free cataract surgeries for patients who are underinsured and uninsured.
• Kauhale -A safe and compassionate place to heal and recuperate, and to provide holistic supportive services in a community setting. This is a village for those who have experienced trauma, to care for each other.
• Project Vision Smiles - Address dental health disparity in underserved communities.
• Hawaiian Eye Foundation - The international service arm of PVH, to promoting the preservation, restoration, and improvement of vision throughout the pacific through charitable service, education, and research programs.
